User accounts (members and Premium)
Creating an account (via RDR ID) gives access to the member area: favorites, progress, preferences and related services (RSS monitoring, labs, etc.). We keep your email address, your name, your plan (free or Premium) and the data you save in those services. Premium gives access to extra features and quotas and an ad-free site; payment is handled by a third-party provider that only tells us whether your subscription is active: we do not store any banking data. You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time.
Audience measurement
We measure site traffic with Matomo, configured without cookies and without any persistent identifier: no cross-site tracking, no advertising profile. Visitors’ IP addresses are anonymized: only the first two octets are kept. Statistics are aggregated; they are neither sold nor shared.
Cookies and local storage
The site uses your browser’s local storage and strictly necessary cookies to remember your preferences (theme, favorites, course progress) and keep you signed in. They are not used to track you. Audience measurement uses no cookies.
Advertising: non-Premium visitors may see ads served by a third party (Google AdSense), which may set its own cookies after collecting your consent. You can refuse or withdraw your consent through the consent message or your browser settings, or go Premium to stop seeing ads.
Personal data (GDPR)
The data controller is the site publisher. The information you provide (contact form, newsletter, account) is used only to answer your request, send you what you asked for and run your member area; it is neither sold nor transferred, and is kept for as long as needed for those purposes. Legal bases: performance of the requested service, consent (newsletter, advertising) and legitimate interest (security, anonymized statistics). Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw your consent: write to us through the contact page. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country (in France: the CNIL).
Services provided
The services offered through the site and the member area (RSS feeds and monitoring, labs, quizzes, notifications, API, etc.) are provided “as is”, free of charge or according to the plan subscribed, with no guarantee of availability, continuity, performance or data retention. They may be changed, limited (quotas) or interrupted at any time, notably for maintenance. Remember to export or back up your important data.
User responsibility
You are solely responsible for the data, content and information you enter, import or publish (comments, notes, feeds, etc.) and for how you use the services. You agree not to publish unlawful content, not to infringe third-party rights and to keep your credentials confidential.
Rules of use and suspension
If these rules are not respected, or in case of abusive or malicious use (spam, unlawful content, circumventing quotas, harming the security or proper operation of the services), the publisher may suspend or delete an account without notice.
